Mr. Richard Brenne
Richard Brenne has been producing and moderating panels since the price of oil was in single figures. The day before flying to ASPO he's producing and moderating five hours of panels in Boulder, Colorado’s 1300-seat Chautauqua Auditorium with James Howard Kunstler, Al Bartlett, ASPO's Steve Andrews, former U.S. Senators Gary Hart - who proposed a $10 a barrel of oil tax back in 1983 – and Hank Brown, as well as top scientists from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the National Center for Atmospheric Research, and NOAA.
Brenne synthesizes climate, energy, population, consumption, species loss and social justice issues in his forthcoming book with the humble title, "The Truth About Everything." He is moving from Boulder to Portland, Oregon to be closer to sponsors for his "Care for the World Tour" of town meetings discussing these issues. Brenne is an award-winning screenwriter last produced by HBO, Warner Brothers and Tri-Star whose sense of humor has been described as somewhere between Mark and Shania Twain's.
