ASPO-USA publishes daily and weekly free newsletters offering current news, analysis and events relating to peak oil, edited by ASPO-USA board member Tom Whipple. These publications are strictly non-partisan. ASPO-USA believes that mitigating the depletion of petroleum will require intelligent bipartisan action by elected officials and within the private sector.
The editors and publishers believe that the world will reach the peak of “all liquids” by 2015. We offer these publications to build a broad awareness of key energy trends, and inform those who can initiate change, especially at the community level.
The daily Peak Oil News is a compilation of significant global energy news, commentary, and analysis, and is sent out daily around 8 am ET.
Peak Oil Review
The weekly Peak Oil Review is an executive summary of the week’s Peak Oil News, plus a commentary article from writers within the ASPO-USA community and other guest analysts. Peak Oil Review highlights price trends, depletion numbers, threats to supply, new supply completions, substitute fuel issues, new analysis and reports, and more–all from a peak oil perspective.
